Woven gabion box is produced from double-twisted hexagonal steel wire mesh using galvanized or PVC-coated wire. It is classified by mesh opening, wire diameter, and zinc coating weight. Woven gabion boxes offer flexibility and tensile strength, allowing deformation without failure. They are commonly used for riverbank protection, erosion control, slope stabilization, embankments, coastal defense, and hydraulic engineering works where ground movement and long-term durability are required.
