Barbed wire is a traditional and cost-effective fencing material used for agricultural and security applications. It is produced from double-strand steel wire with uniformly spaced sharp barbs, commonly in 12 to 16 gauge sizes. Supplied in galvanized or PVC-coated finishes, barbed wire is suitable for livestock fencing, boundary marking, and perimeter reinforcement. Its simple structure allows easy installation while providing reliable deterrence and long service life.
